Accessing our Service
A referral is not required to access ELD Psychology services, however, most people will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. To access this rebate, a referral letter along with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP or Psychiatrist is required.

Please provide your name, mobile number and email address, along with a brief description of why you are seeking our services. We will aim to return your contact within 48-hours. If your difficulties lie outside of our area of expertise, we will do our best to assist you to find an appropriate service to meet your needs.

Sessions
Each session will go for approximately 50 minutes, except the first consultation which may take up to 1 hour. The aim of the initial assessment is to gain an understanding of your difficulties or concerns and to develop a shared understanding of your goals and expectations. We aim to do this in a collaborative manner and at a pace that is comfortable for you. It’s normal to feel nervous before your first session. Please know, that our experienced therapists take a warm and non-judgemental approach to help you feel at ease. At the conclusion of the initial session, treatment options can be discussed, including therapeutic approach and frequency of ongoing sessions.
